Client: Walker Corporation / Department for Infrastructure and Transport
The Festival Plaza redevelopment is a transformative project in Adelaide’s Riverbank Precinct, integrating commercial, cultural, and public spaces. Key components include the 29-storey Festival Tower, a 5-level underground car park, and 16,500m² of revitalized public realm featuring landscaped plazas, water features, and enhanced pedestrian connections.
TF Certifiers + Consultants were engaged as DDA consultants, providing comprehensive accessibility advice throughout the project’s lifecycle. Our role encompassed auditing designs against the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA), Premises Standards, and the National Construction Code (NCC), ensuring equitable access across all precinct elements. We collaborated closely with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to implement practical solutions that uphold both compliance and user experience.
Our consultancy contributed to the creation of an inclusive environment that accommodates diverse user needs, reinforcing Festival Plaza’s status as a welcoming and accessible destination for all visitors.
