TF role: BCA consultancy and design review
The new Mount Barker Hospital expands healthcare capacity for the growing Adelaide Hills community, with new clinical accommodation, specialist services and supporting infrastructure on the existing hospital site.
TF Certifiers + Consultants provided BCA consultancy to Swanbury Penglase and Hassell through progressive design reviews. The assessment covered the main hospital facility, Central Energy Plant and multi-deck car park, bringing together the architectural, structural and building-services documentation.
The reviews addressed fire and smoke compartmentation, evacuation, accessibility and the coordination of performance solutions. By tracking matters between design stages, TF helped the project team identify the information and consultant coordination required before final documentation.
