TF role: BCA assessment and staged building certification
Arcare Wynn Vale is a proposed residential aged-care facility on Wynn Vale Drive in Adelaide’s north-eastern suburbs. Designed by VIA Architects for Knowles Group and Arcare, the development combines care accommodation and resident facilities with basement car parking.
TF Certifiers + Consultants is providing BCA assessment and staged building-certification services. The work includes preliminary design advice and review of the architectural, structural and building-services documentation, with attention to fire and smoke compartmentation, evacuation, accessibility and the interfaces between care areas and the basement.
The project is progressing through staged consent packages, with substructure and in-ground works assessed separately from the superstructure. TF’s role supports the project team in coordinating the information required at each stage.
