TF role: BCA certification and preliminary assessment
Arcare Hove is a purpose-built residential aged-care development on King George Avenue, bringing additional care accommodation to Adelaide’s southern coastal suburbs. The project combines resident accommodation and shared facilities with basement car parking.
TF Certifiers + Consultants was engaged by Knowles Group for BCA certification, including preliminary building-code assessment and reporting. This early input established the compliance matters for the project team to address as the design and documentation progressed.
Residential aged care requires a coordinated approach to the needs of residents, staff and visitors. TF’s involvement brought building-certification advice into that process, helping the team consider the building’s use and the requirements applying to its care and car-parking components.
