The Migration Museum sits within Adelaide’s historic cultural precinct, where proposed changes need to work carefully with existing buildings and shared site arrangements.
TF Certifiers + Consultants provided building-code advice and compliance inspection for the museum’s entry redevelopment. The work included reviewing the relationship between the proposed works and existing escape routes from the adjoining South Australian Museum Science Centre.
TF’s advice helped the architectural team understand the egress provisions that needed to be maintained or addressed as the design developed. The project demonstrates the value of site-specific compliance advice when improving an established public and heritage setting.
